Big name employers line up for University job fair
Prestigious employers will be on the lookout for new recruits at Sheffield´s annual Spring into Jobs Fair on Wednesday 24 February 2010.
The fair, which is jointly organised by the careers services at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, will take place between 10.30am and 4.00pm at the University of Sheffield´s Octagon Centre.
The Spring into Jobs Fair is open to students and graduates from all institutions and is an opportunity to meet a range of employers recruiting for graduate positions, internships and placements in the UK and Europe.
Students and graduates are invited to drop-in at any time on the day to speak to exhibitors, including Abercrombie and Fitch, ALDI Stores Limited, Brocade Communications, Cameron, CERN, Civil Service Fast Stream, Croda International Ltd, Deloitte, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, HM Treasury, IBM, Millward Brown, Next Retail Ltd, Nissan Car Manufacturing (UK) Ltd, Tandberg, Training and Development Agency for Schools, Unipart Automotive and many more.
Michelle Dexter, Fairs Manager, said: "In the current economic climate we are delighted to bring such a wide selection of big name employers who are currently recruiting to Sheffield, some having travelled from across Europe to be here.
"I would encourage anybody who is currently looking for their dream job to come along, speak to the representatives and find out more about the current vacancies available and how they can apply. I would also encourage people to do their research in advance, look at the fair website, read the company profiles and make themselves stand out from the crowd."
