Medical School careers information for postgraduate students

The University of Sheffield offers a comprehensive Careers Service whose services are available to all students. The Careers Service’s website contains a wide range of information about jobs, employers, vacancies, careers events, application and interview preparation.

The University Careers Service Officer assigned to the School of Medicine’s Postgraduate Research Students is Kevin Mahoney. The Careers Information Centre is currently situated on the Mezzanine Floor of the Main Library. Open 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (10am-5pm on Tuesdays) during semesters. Times vary in the vacation period.

Graduatelink If you are interested in working in the local Yorkshire or Humberside region, The University of Sheffield Careers Service also offers the Graduate Link Service, which has been set up on behalf of the University and College Careers services in Yorkshire to promote graduate jobs in local Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
