Grant Authorisation and Submission

All applications need to be authorised on behalf of the School and the University Research Office. This is in line with the requirements of most funders. The same process applies for electronic and paper submissions. Please see the link on the right for information about University Authorisation.

In the School of Medicine and Biomedical Science, the following are required for application authorisation:

  1. An authorised URMS number
  2. Evidence that the application is endorsed by the internal review process

Authorisation within the Medical School can then be gained by contacting your Section's Grant Authoriser before it is submitted.
