Funding Opportunities
The following are potentail funding sources for PhD Studentships:
Research Council Doctoral Training Grants (DTG)
Each year the School is awarded an MRC and EPSRC DTG. The amount of funding is based on the School's overal grant income from each research council.
For the MRC DTG an open call for projects will be announced around August/September. Projects must have been internally reviewed by completeing the Graduate Recruitment Form. All suitable projects will then be advertised in October with a January deadline for applications. Interviews will take place in February by an independent panel. The best students will be awarded a studentship.
