EPSRC studentships

We are offering 15 fully-funded PhD studentships for entry in 2011 covering fees and stipend. In 2010/11 the basic student stipend is £13,590 pa with an enhancement of £2000 for first year students. In years 2-4 it is expected that a top-up of £300 pa will be provided through industrial sponsorship.

All research consumables, including a laptop, consumables, travel between centres, conference fees, international placements etc, will be covered for fully-funded students.

Self-funded students

Tuition fees for 2011/12 have not been set.
