Applying for the MA in Translation Studies
Course Duration:
1 year full time, 2 years part time
Entry Requirements
The normal entry requirements are:
- a British 2.1 degree or equivalent in which the translation language or languages constitute a major or significant element.
- Students whose first language is not English must have passed either the Academic IELTS 7.0 (with a minimum of 6.5 in each component), TOEFL iBT 95 or Pearson PTE 67 language test.
- Two academic references.
- Personal Statement. In the statement you should explain why you have chosen to take an MA in translation studies. Please note that the statement should be no longer than 350 words.
There is no final deadline for applications but we recommend that you apply by the end of June as staff holidays mean that there will be delays processing applications during July and August.
