About the Centre

The Centre is responsible for providing language modules to non-specialist students in 43 departments at the University of Sheffield and self-access facilities for all students within the School of Modern Languages and Linguistics (SOMLAL). It also runs three M.A.s. It delivers classes in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Latin and has its home in the Portobello Centre, Pitt Street.
