Musicology-Ethnomusicology research consultancy

In October 2007, Jonathan Stock spent two weeks as research consultant in the area of "Musicology-Ethnomusicology" at the Music Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, giving invited lectures and seminars on his research and speaking with faculty at HKBU about their plans to develop new research in the years ahead.

On a side visit to Zhejiang University of Media and Communications in Hangzhou, China, Jonathan's visiting lecture clashed with the passing across campus of the Olympic torch (but an audience of non-sports fixated music students and staff still showed up).
