MA Psychology for Musicians/MA Music Psychology in Education
Fees and Costs
Fees
One important advantage of studying Music Psychology by distance learning is that the fees are set at the same level for UK and overseas students alike.
Fees for 2011 entry have now been set at £2,100 a year for each of the two years of the course. This may be paid two equal instalments, through a UK bank account, at registration in August 2011 and in February 2012
Other costs
You will be expected to attend a residential courses in August of each year, for which competitively priced accommodation will be available but the cost of this accommodation is not included in the fees.
You should also be aware that you will need access to a number of relevant books during the two years; the online course materials alone will not contain sufficient information for you to pass the course. It is possible to rely on libraries if you have a good local source, otherwise many students purchase books through internet book shops at reduced rates.
Some special equipment may be need to be purchased to carry out experiments in Music Psychology
