Julian Payne and Gladys Hall Postgraduate Tuition Scholarships 2013-2014
£4,000 each
We are pleased to announce four tuition scholarships of £4,000 for entering MA, MMus and MPhil/PhD students at the Department of Music, University of Sheffield in 2013-2014. One of the two Julian Payne awards will be reserved for a University of Sheffield undergraduate student who graduated in 2011 or 2012, or who will graduate in 2013.
All entering on-site students (full time, part time, UK/EU, overseas) are eligible to apply; successful part-time students will receive their £4,000 scholarship over two years of study. Scholarships are not renewable beyond the end of academic year 2013-2014.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have applied to study for an MA, MMus or MPhil/PhD at the Department of Music by Friday 26 April 2013, 5pm. In addition they must write to the Director of Graduate Studies in Music, Dr George Nicholson (g.nicholson@sheffield.ac.uk) by Friday 26 April to indicate their wish to be considered for a scholarship.
