Standard Offers
We accept all A level subjects, including General Studies, and welcome applications from candidates with A-level equivalent qualifications. Our standard offer for single hons Music (W302) is now ABB. We hope you are well along the path towards achieving ABRSM Grade VIII in your principal instrument. Please remember that we also accept ABRSM- equivalent gradings and normally accept all instruments.
If you are taking the Diploma, BTEC, IB, Highers or undertaking extended studies etc. please do tell us. We will grade your offer so that it allows you to excel and meets our requirements. If you are unable to take Music as a subject we normally accept the following ABRSM exams: ABRSM VIII Practical Merit / Distinction + ABRSM Theory VIII Merit / Distinction.

We consider a range of UK and international qualifications including Cambridge Pre-U, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, BTEC. For course requirements and English language requirements for international students please refer to our online prospectus.
Although we do not use the UCAS tariff, if you consider ABB (320) + ABRSM VII practical (55), we are looking for at least 370 points.
