Music Technology: Undergraduate Study

Students can take a variety of modules in the Sound Studios at Undergraduate level.
At Level I all students are invited to take MUS119 (Introduction to Studio Techniques) which prepares you for some of the everyday uses of the studio (burning CDs, notation, recording). Level I students are also asked to use the studio creatively as part of the MUS109 composition module for the creation of instrumental and acousmatic music.
At Level II / III students can construct a music technology pathway by including modules such as:
- MUS207 (Studies in Music Since 1945)
- MUS302/333 (Single/Double modules in Composition)
- Mus340 (Sound and Moving Image)
- MUS355 (Creative Applications of Music Technology)
