European Union/EEA nationals

European Union/EEA nationals can enter the UK without entry clearance, but may still have to show evidence of funding. (See UK Border Agency webpages: UK Border Agency)

Swiss nationals are not citizens of EU, and Switzerland is not part of the EEA. However, since 1 June 2002, Swiss nationals have had freedom of movement rights which are broadly similar to those EU/EEA countries.
