Lost or delayed?
a. Have Meet and Greet e-mail confirmation but can´t find University of Sheffield representatives?
If you are at the airport, have a Meet and Greet e-mail confirmation but cannot see the University of Sheffield representatives, go to the nearest airport information desk. Ask the information desk staff to "page" or call University of Sheffield staff in other terminals.
b. Delayed or Missed Flight?
If you are booked on the Meet and Greet scheme but cannot arrive at the time/date entered on your Meet and Greet e-mail confirmation, please telephone to let us know. If you don´t, we can´t be there to meet you. NB – DO NOT RELY ON E-MAIL FOR THIS; it may not be read before your arrival. You need to speak to a member of staff to make such changes telephone +44 (0)114 222 1296.
c. Arrival in different terminal than expected / booked?
Stay where you are and report to the Information Desk. Representatives will find you.
d. Problems relating to arrival only in September 2013. Please note this number will not be answered at other times.
Call Student Services on +44 (0)114 222 1296 from outside UK or; 0114 222 1296 from within UK but outside Sheffield. Have a pen ready, as you may be given a second number to call.
- This number will be staffed from 7.00 am – midnight, British Summer Time.
- Please check the time – you may be calling a member of staff at home.
- Ask your family at home NOT to use this number outside office hours to leave messages for you or to check if you have arrived. Staff will not be able to help with such requests from home.
