Why Attend the Orientation Programme?

c. The Residential Orientation and Induction Programme helps with early adjustment and facilitates speedy academic orientation.

d. The Residential Orientation programme facilitates:

  1. finding your way around the campus.
  2. finding your way into and around the City Centre on public transport – and back again!
  3. talks on UK culture, homesickness and culture shock.
  4. meeting key staff.
  5. meeting other new students.
  6. a range of social activities, including trips to cinema, night club, walks, games etc.
  7. you being in a position to help new students you meet who did not attend.
  8. feeling good about being in Sheffield!
