Highlighted Events for Postgraduate Students

Below are a number of events that will be of interest to/or are specifically for Postgraduate Students. Come along and meet new and continuing Postgraduate students.

Monday 17th September 2012

Jazz Night: The Interval, Sheffield Students' Union 9pm - 11pm

Come along for a night of smooth, chilled out Jazz. This is a popular event so get there early to avoid dissapointment (limited numbers)

Tuesday 18th September 2012

Welcome to the University Meeting for New Postgraduates, Students' Union Auditorium

09.30-10.30am Faculty of Social Sciences (except Management School)

11.30-12.30pm Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Pure Science, visiting students

13.30-14.30pm Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Management School

Join us afterwards for free light refreshments in the Raynor Lounge. Members of PROGRESS (the postgraduate society, the Finance team and Student Support and guidance will all be available for any questions or comments.

Quiz Night: Coffee Revolution, Sheffield Students' Union 8pm - 10pm

Come and test your wits against the quiz master! A free quiz of general knowledge and trivia. Feel free to come on your own and join a team on arrival, it's another great opportunity to meet new people and hopefully win some prizes.

Postgraduate Coffee Morning: Coffee Revolution, 10.30am

A chance to meet other postgrads and ask questions about living and studying in Sheffield.

Friday 21st September 2012

Postgraduate and Mature Undergraduate Pub Tour: Meet in the Interval at 6pm

See the sights of Sheffield via the local pubs. Bring money for refreshments.
