Attend a University Health Interview

Medical interviews are a condition of admission to the University, and are usually conducted at Goodwin Sports Centre during Intro Week. Details can be found in the Registration Timetable.

The Director of the University Health Service must be satisfied that you are in a satisfactory state of health on entering the University. In order to confirm this all students should complete the on-line questionnaire via the registration pages, and return to the University Health Service well in advance of coming to Sheffield. These questionnaires are screened at the University Health Service and your immunisation status is also reviewed and any necessary recommendations for vaccinations made. You will be offered an appointment with a doctor or nurse, if necessary, following screening .
Registration with the University Health Service, which is a comprehensive National Health Service General Practice, takes place in Intro Week at the Goodwin Sports Centre. You will have the opportunity to register for full NHS medical care with doctors dedicated to the care and support of young people undertaking higher education.
