Things Not Going Right?

The University wants to help all new students settle in as quickly and as comfortably as possible to university life. Much of the Information that you need to know during your first few days from administrative tasks to course information to what to do for fun can be found on the University´s web pages.

Safety and Security

Moving out of home or moving to a new area, brings with it new issues to do with safety and security. Follow the link under `see also..´ on the right of the page to find out more.

Settling into your new room

One of the first things most students do when they arrive at university is to go and see the new room where they will be staying. To help you settle in and feel happy with your room see the suggestion page `settling into your room´.

Registration and fees

When arriving at university you need to make sure that you go through all the correct procedures to make sure that you are fully registered and have paid your fees. If you are having problems relating to these please follow the link under `see also´ on the right.

What can I do if I can´t find out information?

Try talking to someone from SSiD (Student Support and Information Desk) located in the Student´s Union or use the search bar at the top right of your screen.
