Documents Needed To Open Account Include:

1. Passport.

2. Any bank statements from home.

3. Proof of addresses and proof of student status. Banks generally require an individual letter from the University for this:

1. Certifying Letters (sent pre-arrival) will be sufficient for some students including Sheffield address.
2. If your Sheffield address is not on your certifying letter, please go to Student Services Information Desk (SSiD) in the Union of Students Building to obtain a bank letter. (Students on the Residential Orientation programme will be given this by orientation staff.)
