Health and Immigration

1. Immigration officers

• Immigration Officers can refer individuals for a health check at the port of entry into the UK.
• Health Officers at the port of entry may ask to see a report of an X-ray and other medical documents at that time. Without these, entry can be delayed.
• Carry a copy of your documents (in English) in your hand baggage.

2. Tuberculosis Screening

This may be carried out by Public Health physicians following referral from Immigration Officers at the port of entry.
