Home Visits

1. A doctor will visit home only if a patient is too ill to come to the surgery. If at all possible, patients are expected to visit the surgery. Call the Health Service before 11.00 am if possible.

2. If an illness seems really serious outside surgery hours (at nights or at the weekend), a doctor can be called to the home. It may not be a doctor that the patient knows and the wait for a visit may be quite long.
