Research Committee

About the Committee

The Research Committee meets every 2 months to oversee all activities relating to research within the Department.  It receives regular reports from Oncology's Space and REF Committees and is responsible for the deployment and monitoring of Departmental resources (lab/office space and technical support); coordination and monitoring of Grant Review; liaison with the DRP on the SRDS process and preparation of cases for promotion/ECAs; liaison with the Postgraduate School for Research and Teaching on PGR, and shaping the overall research strategy for the Department.  The Research Committee makes recommendations on these issues to the Executive Board of the Department of Oncology.
