Teaching Committee
About the CommitteeThe Teaching Committee meets three times per year to oversee all activities relating to teaching within the Department. It provides an oversight of the internal quality assurance and is responsible for developing the departmental teaching strategy. It reviews student numbers, teaching space allocation and has an input into the budget setting. It monitors teaching activities in the department at both undergraduate and post graduate level. It liaises with the Postgraduate School for Research and Teaching and AUME. Recommendations for promotions and ECAs can be made for exceptional contribution to teaching activities. The Teaching Committee makes recommendations on these issues to the Executive Board of the Department of Oncology. |
