Biography

August 2004 to present – Clinical Senior Lecturer, University of Sheffield and Honorary Consultant Urological Surgeon to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust.
October 2001 to July 2004 – Consultant Urological Surgeon to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Barnsley District General Hospital.
November 1996 to September 2001 - Specialist Registrar in Urology, North Trent Urology Training Rotation
November 1995 to October 1996 - Registrar in General Surgery, Rotherham District General Hospital.
November 1993 to October 1995 - Research Registrar in Urology, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield.

Research Interests

My research interests include lower urinary tract function and bladder reconstruction.
My main clinical research interests include patient perception of urological intervention, particularly in the field of oncological urological surgery and functional assessment of the lower urinary tract.
