Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in the UK so, when it's not practical to get out of the city,
- the Winter Garden (which is situated next to the gallery and theatre complex at the heart of Sheffield),
- a selection of public parks and
- the Botanical gardens (pictured right)
are all within easy walking distance of the University campus.
