Parents and Carers drop-in sessions
We hold Parents and Carers drop-in sessions over the first weekend of Intro Week. These are a chance for you to relax with free coffee/tea and biscuits after helping your son or daughter to unpack.
This years drop-ins will be held on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September 2013 from 2-4pm. They will take place in the Outreach Rooms on level 5 of the Students' Union Building - please click on the link below to see a map. Please note there will be free parking in the Durham Road car park opposite the Octagon Centre and there will be plenty of student assistants available to direct you.
This will also be an opportunity to meet senior staff from the University including staff in Student Services and Accommodation & Commerical Services who will be able to answer your questions. As well as the drop-in, Student Services staff will be giving a talk on the student experience and the University's relationship with you as a parent.
Please book accommodation in advance before coming to Sheffield. This time of year is often busy and advance booking of overnight accommodation if you are planning to stay is highly recommended.
