Research Events & Activities
The Department has a lively research culture. During term time the Departmental Seminar meets weekly, usually with a visiting speaker; papers are circulated in advance. Throughout the year there are workshops, conferences, and many reading groups. There are also weekly postgraduate seminars, events put on by the Philosophy Society and by the Philosophy in the City project, and an annual Reading Weekend.
