Committees
The Department is steered in part by a number of committees. Some of them have minutes posted on the web.
The admissions committee discusses all undergraduate admissions matters.
The teaching committee discusses all matters concerned with teaching, examinations etc. The same membership serves as the Staff Student Liaison Committee: under this guise, the student members set the agenda and the meeting is chaired by a student.
The postgraduate affairs committee discusses all postgraduate matters

The staff-student committee discusses all matters concerned with teaching, examinations etc. It has the same membership as the Teaching Committee, but it has a Student Chair, and the agenda is set by the student members.
