2012 Art and Craft Exhibition

This year's exhibition will take place on Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May.
Opening times: 10am to 4pm

The exhibition will be held in the second year lab, room number E32, on floor E of the Hicks Building. Members of the Physics and Astronomy Art Group will be exhibiting their work and we invite members of University staff to exhibit with us.

Taking part

If you wish to exhibit work, please use the online exhibition entry form, see link below.

Exhibition entry form

Without exhibitors there can be no exhibition. You can exhibit any form of art, craft, photography, etc and there's no judging involved so don't be shy. We'd like to include as many members of our group as possible, so anything you've made at one of our activity sessions can be shown in the craft section - this would be a good chance to show what we've been doing.

This is a major event for our group so any help you can offer by exhibiting your work or in helping to organise the event will be greatly appreciated - thanks. We will need help to clear the lab and set up the exhibition on Friday 11th and Monday 14th May.

2011 Exhibition

Last year's exhibition was a great success - for visitors' comments and photos see the link below:

We hope to build on the success of last year and make the 2012 exhibition even better!

Good causes

Admission to the exhibition is free but we invite voluntary donations to our supported charities which this year will be St. Lukes Hospice and The Edale Mountain Rescue Team. 15% of any sales will also be donated to these charities.

Last year we raised a total of £322.15 of which £168.17 went to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and £153.98 went to ASSIST.
