Becky Bradbury

I enjoy a variety of arty type activities. Mostly I just like to try things out, I usually have no idea if I'm using the 'proper' method or not but things normally work out OK in the end.

One of my favourites is knitting, although unfortunately I'm not very good at correcting my mistakes which has led to unravelling many hours worth of work. Success has been mixed, much to everyone's amusement I started by knitting very unshapely 2 inch pieces full of holes, through to attempting a pair of gloves that had to be abandoned when I realised that the wrist opening was only an inch wide!

I've also tried other techniques, including rug making, glass engraving and acrylic painting.

Ceramic painting
These items were painted using ceramic paints which are dishwasher proof after being baked in the oven.

Robins Christmas Card
I made this Christmas card which was sold via the art group and made over £40 for charity.

Shaun the Sheep
I knitted Shaun from a kit.

Mittens
These are the mittens I made at the feltmaking session in December.

Tortoise
I saw a pattern on the internet and couldn't resist.
