Farm animals

A change of style, I've painted the following three paintings using acrylic paint. Pigs have now appeared and expect horses to follow soon.
No more sheep? I don't know, we'll see!

Country scenes

A series of "jolly pastoral scenes" or something like that, featuring the animal characters from my earlier paintings.

"Flock in three parts", watercolour and gouache.

"Over the Hills and Far Away", watercolour and gouache.

Animals

For the following paintings I used watercolour paint for the sky and acrylic paint for the animals.
For the grass effect I mixed watercolour paint with gell retarder used for slowing the drying time of acrylic paint.
I applied this mixture with a painting knife to give texture.

Sea Creatures

I've used watercolour paint for the sky and sea and acrylic paint for the creatures and the white waves.
The highlights on the sea are done using a silver pen which doesn't reproduce properly here.

Abstract

Here I've used watercolour and a silver metallic pen.
I've added more colours into wet paint and allowed it all to blend and run on the paper.
