Join the group

The Physics and Astronomy Art Group provides a central contact point to help people to become involved in, or to discuss, all aspects of art and crafts. Membership gives you the opportunity to display your work in our online gallery, exhibit your work at our annual exhibition and take part in various other activities (see "What's on").

Membership of the group is open to all staff and students of the department of Physics and Astronomy and their partners and children. You don't even need to be actively involved in art or crafts, interest is all that matters, maybe we can inspire you to have a go - just talk to our members or join us at one of our activity sessions.

We would also like to extend membership to any ex-members of the Physics and Astronomy department who would like to stay in contact via this group.

We now have associate membership available for staff and postgraduate students from any department, but so as not to compete for membership with the student art society we regret that we can't accept undergraduate students from outside the department of Physics and Astronomy.
