"The University of Sheffield was appealing to me not only due to the high ranking of the department, but also because Sheffield University and the city itself seemed like an interesting, multicultural place to make amazing memories and have an amazing overall university experience! I enjoyed the fact that Sheffield has so much to offer its students, no matter what your personality and interests are. The Union and its various committees and activities has not only given me the opportunity to interact with people from various cultures but has helped me make Sheffield a home away from home." "I chose the University of Sheffield because it is not only top three in the UK for Politics degrees but also because it has the biggest union in all of the UK. The combination of these two things led me to believe that the University of Sheffield would provide me with a great combination, one of quality academics with a whole lot of social activities. I must say that what I enjoyed most of the University was its large campus. The uni is spread around the entire city which makes it a lot more cozy for someone who is so far away from home. Also, the amount of social and sports activities that the uni provides is amazing. Every day there is something to do, so you will never feel lonely!"
