Submitting an application
Research applications are now submitted by one of two routes. Some organisations still require hard copies, some use electronic submission systems, while others require both. This section outlines the submission procedure and approval process for some of our main research sponsors.
Please note that, regardless of the sponsor or the submission method, R&IS should be involved at an early stage of costing/pricing applications. Where we receive requests from sponsors for institutional authorisation for applications in which University procedures have been ignored, the application will not be authorised.
