The information contained in these pages does not constitute University policy, but aims to help researchers interpret the Research Ethics Policy, conduct research ethically themselves, and to instruct others to conduct research ethically.

Information is provided in the following sections:

1. Information on the University Ethics Review Procedure

Including application forms, help with applying, and guidance for specific groups involved in the administration of the procedure in academic departments.

2. Specialist guidance on ethical issues

Including Specialist Research Ethics Guidance Papers, Log of Queries and Responses from the UREC, and other guidance on specific ethical issues.
