Biography
I received my MA degree from the University of Warsaw (2003). In 2004 I was awarded a British Council Chevening (Joseph Conrad) Scholarship to conduct research at the University of Sheffield for one semester. I have now completed my PhD at the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies. Recently, I have developed an online course for the advanced speakers of Polish: Polish for Foreigners sponsored by CEELBAS, and online exercises for students of all levels of Polish.
Research topic
My research attempts to present the significance and influence of Russian émigré and dissident literature for Polish readers of underground literature. It will also describe the similarities and differences in underground publishing in Poland and USSR in the 1970s and 1980s.
