Postgraduate Taught Students

These pages provide basic information for ScHARR's Taught Masters students. 

Current students can access course information (handbooks, timetables, procedures) through the ScHARR Student Hub on MOLE

ScHARR currently has over 350 PGT students, from the UK, European Union and countries throughout the world. There is a mix of full-time and part-timers, with some members of staff also registered for a masters degree.

Teaching Governance

Teaching strategy is co-ordinated by the Teaching Directorate, comprising the Director of Learning and Teaching, Dr Michelle Holdsworth; Deputy Directors Dr Paul Bissell, Dr Phil Shackley, Dr Jenny Freeman and Chris Blackmore. 

The Teaching Support Unit Manager is Lucy Thorpe (starting 1 July) and Postgraduate Taught Administrator is Debra Lowe.

The School's Teaching Committee meets once a month is advisory to the Directorate and Executive Group.
