Faculty Studentship

As part of the Faculty of Medistry, Dentistry & Health we have one studentship available to be based in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield starting October 2012.

We welcome applications involving projects that fit with the broader research areas of the school.  Please see the individual sections of Public Health, Heath Economics and Decision Science, Health Services Research as well as individual staff pages for further details of the research within the School.

Funding

The studentships fund:
A stipend at the RCUK rate (£13,590 in 2011-12)
Fees at the UK/EU rate (international students will have to self-fund the overseas element of the fee

You will need to ensure that you meet ScHARR's entry requirements which can be found on the 'How to Apply' page.  You will need to complete the University’s online application form  ensuring you put in that you are applying for the Faculty Studentship.

Deadline

The deadline for completed applications is Friday 27th January 2012.

Funded PhDs for NHS staff

A number of free places are available to staff who work for the NHS in the Yorkshire and Humber and East Midlands Regions or NHS East Midlands. These places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
