Biography
I joined the University of Sheffield in 2009 and currently involved in the design and analysis of clinical trials within CTRU. I also provide statistical advice in research design for grant applications for researchers through the NIHR-RDS for Yorkshire and Humber as a medical statistician. Prior to this, I have worked in TB and HIV related research as a statistician and in data management responsible for Smear Negative and TB Diagnostic studies at Biomedical Research and Training Institute under DETECTB.
I am based in the Health Services Research section.
Research interests
- Clinical trials methodology (bioequivalence and non inferiority trials)
- Hierarchical or Multilevel modelling
- Multiple imputation
- Bayesian inference in small clinical trials
My research interests are mainly in clinical trials and statistical methodology, longitudinal models in trials, diagnostic accuracy studies, missing data and bayesian inference.
