Biography

I joined HEDS in June 2011, after completing a BSc from the Pennsylvania State University and an MSc from University of York. Currently, I am finishing my PhD at York. My thesis is on multidimensional well-being and the effect of relative wealth on self-reported and mental health in developing countries.

Current projects

I am currently working on the following projects:

• Modelling generic type-1 diabetes model to estimate the cost-effectiveness of NIHR Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC)
• Improving management of Type 1 diabetes in the UK: the DAFNE programme as a research test-bed
• A multi-centre, cluster randomised controlled trial comparing structured education (the KICk-OFF course) with standard care in 11-16 year olds with Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM) on intensive insulin therapy.
• Cost-effectiveness of DXA scans in children with low bone mineral density
• Cost Modelling of the Haemato-Oncology Diagnostic Services Provision in Sheffield Hospitals
