About Penny

Penny started her PhD at ScHARR in October 2009. The subject of her thesis is the use of Bayesian statistics in health economic and clinical trial simulation. Before starting her PhD she was working as a heath economics consultant at IMS Health. In 2007 she completed an MSc in Economics and Health Economics at the University of Sheffield. Her master's thesis looked at the cost-effectiveness of trabectedin in early breast cancer.

Penny's PhD is funded by an ESRC studentship.
