Biography

I have worked with the CTRU since May 2011. I am the Trial Co-ordinator for a multi-centre randomised controlled trial, REPOSE. The aim of the trial is to establish the added benefit of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) therapy over multiple injections on glycaemic control and hypoglycaemia in individuals with type 1 diabetes receiving similar high quality structured training in insulin therapy (DAFNE).

Prior to joining CTRU, I worked with ScHARR Technology Assessment Group from July 2006, where I worked as an Information Specialist and Systematic Reviewer undertaking health technology assessments for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC).
