Biography
I joined ScHARR as a Research Fellow in October 2007. I am part of the Sheffield Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU). I am the Trial Manager for the 3Mg Study: A randomised controlled trial of intravenous or nebulised magnesium sulphate versus placebo for acute severe asthma. I previously worked at The University of Manchester as a Research Associate in the Cardiovascular Research Group and then as a Research Project Manager at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre, during which I managed a portfolio of trials involving translational imaging techniques including MRI and PET scanning.
I am also an adviser for the NIHR Research Design Service for Yorkshire and the Humber and a proposal developer for the CTRU. This involves assisting investigators in the design and costing of research proposals.
I am based in the section of Health Services Research
