Biography
I joined the Medical Care Research Unit in 1996 to work on an evaluation of business process re-engineering at Leicester Royal Infirmary. After working on the national evaluation of NHS Direct, I moved on to project manage a RCT evaluating the effectiveness of community paramedic practitioners.
I am currently looking at the population perspective of Emergency and Urgent Care Systems, and the patient and population perspective of the 111 non emergency telephone service.
Research Interests
My research interests are emergency and urgent health care systems, new roles/services within emergency and urgent health care, violence directed towards staff in the Emergency Department
Teaching interests
I contribute to the supervision and marking of Masters dissertations.
Current projects
