Biography
I received a BA in Counselling & Psychological Science from Teesside University (Mediterranean College, Athens) in 2006. Afterwards, I studied at the University of Indianapolis (Athens Campus) for an MA degree in Clinical Psychology which I received in 2009. At the same time, I was awarded the title "Certified Addiction Counsellor" by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).
Subsequently, I have started working as a counsellor in a private drug treatment facility conducting both individual and group therapy. Soon, I became team leader and responsible for the organizational functioning of the clinical service. My aim is to integrate scientific knowledge and practical clinical experience and implement them in my daily work as a scientist practitioner.
