Biography
I graduated in Philosophy at the University of Turin (Italy) in 1997. I subsequently worked as an information professional at the University of Turin for ten years and obtained my MSc in International Information Studies from the Universities of Northumbria and Parma in 2008.
I joined the University of Sheffield at the end of 2009 as a PhD student and upgraded from MPhil to PhD in 2010 with a research project named 'Does a social marketing campaign enhance ethnic communities' decision making when a stroke is witnessed? A qualitative analysis of knowledge translation and utilization through social networks'.
Research Interests
Social networks, web 2.0, information utilization in communities, role of information professionals in supporting research activities, evidence-based practice.
Teaching Interests
