I am currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant, alongside pursuing my PhD in Public Health at the University of Sheffield, UK. I am based at the Section of Public Health and Related Research (ScHARR).
Prior to starting my PhD I have worked as a Public Health and Nutrition specialist in various governmental and Nongovernmental organisations including the Ghana Health Service and the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in Ghana, the Burkina Faso Ministry of Health, Helen Keller International (Burkina) and Family Health International in Senegal all in West Africa. I have also worked as Research Associate with the World Health Organisation Regional Office for Europe in Denmark.
Research Interests
My research interests include maternal and child health and nutrition in middle and low income countries.
Teaching Interests
Currently, I take part in teaching the research method, key issues in global health and project management and leadership modules of the ScHARR Master of Public Health programme.

Current Projects
My current research project addresses nutrition and child survival in Ghana. The research adopts a mixed method research approach to explore the effectiveness of community-based/outpatients' care in the treatment of severe acute malnutrition among children under age five years of age.
