The Student Ambassador Role
The Student Ambassador role comes with many responsibilities.
As well as providing valuable work experience for your cv., it offers the rewards of working with people of all ages and from all backgrounds to help them to make informed choices on the subjects they pursue at school and the degree courses they eventually target.
These are roles that are paid in line with the terms and conditions of the University of Sheffield's Summary of the University Bank Agreement, We ask that all Ambassadors familiarize themselves with this document, as well as the Protocol for Managing the Dual Relationship of University of Sheffield students who work at the University.

Skills for Work Certificate
The Skills for Work Certificate is open to all current students at the University of Sheffield and is designed to help you use your experience gained from work to demonstrate to future employers that you have the necessary skills to function in the workplace. It will also help you to learn more about yourself and your career options and can count towards the Sheffield Graduate Award.
What's more, the hours that you work as a Student Ambassador can count towards the number of hours needed between the start and end dates of the programme (currently a minimum of 50 hours).
