10. What can be done (by this initiative) to enable professional staff across the University to develop their skills in a way that supports the University’s strategic aims?

Through the work on the Sheffield Professional, I am keen to look at development of our professional staff group. This could be through a range of initiatives such as broader project involvement, internal secondments.

I also want to support broader career progression for staff which sees people moving across departmental and faculty boundaries. This may be a useful theme for our April event.
