8. What can we do to cascade the message and not be put down? How can we empower staff?

As a starting point we asked that you all start to share this message with others in your faculty/professional services department. This should include academics and managers. All Professional Services Executives and Faculty Directors of Operations have been briefed, and all have bought into the concept and are supportive of it.

The Steering Group have also asked that they ensure you are supported in sharing these messages, both formally and informally – for example all have been asked to ensure there is some form of departmental or faculty news update for all staff. The Steering Group have also asked you to agree that one of you act as their key contact or reference point within each faculty or professional services department.
